bring to CHANEL. About the r ole : CHANEL is looking for a Market
Director to join our Fragrance and Beauty Team in South Orange
County or San Diego, California . You will play a leading role in
leading and developing a team of Account Executives and Education
Executives, focusing on enhancing the client and service
experience, driving sales, and expanding market share. This role
interfaces with the Head of Sales and Corporate partners and is a
key partner for executing business objectives and supporting market
growth. Our ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and a
passion for Fragrance and Beauty. What impact you can create at
CHANEL: Lead the execution of overall market business strategies to
achieve sales and market share growth. Oversee Chanel Fragrance and
Beauty retail sales within your assigned territory. Build a
professional rapport with internal and external retail partners to
enhance the business. Develop and monitor market strategies across
multiple distribution channels. Recruit, develop, and coach top
talent, creating a future pipeline for the organization. Foster
brand image and ensure an exceptional client experience by
negotiating premium spaces and leading local product launches. You
are energized b y: Leading and developing high-performing teams.
Navigating complexity and executing business strategies. Building
strong, collaborative relationships with retail partners. Working
in a dynamic environment where client experience and brand image
are at the forefront. Identifying growth opportunities and working
towards measurable results. What you will bring to the team : 5-7
years of relevant experience in Fragrance and Beauty or a
Multi-Brand Retail environment. Proven leadership skills, with the
ability to coach and develop teams across different levels . Strong
communication , negotiation, and presentation skills. Expertise in
market strategy, business execution, and talent development.
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required . Strong computer
skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite. Position Logistics:
Travel Requirement: Approx. 50-75%. Ability to lift a minimum of 40
pounds. Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams,
ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld and
support and create an elevated client experience. Eligible for flex
time use. *Chanel, Inc. reserves the right to edit, change, or make
exceptions on designations where circumstances where deemed
appropriate. Compensation : The anticipated base salary range for
this position is $133,000 through $160,000 . Base salary is one
component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms
of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other
components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or
